Abingdon Gymnastics Club is home to almost 1000 gymnasts a week. Located in Berinsfield, Oxfordshire the club has grown year on year and is based in a 11,500 sq ft dedicated facility offering excellent training equipment. As the club has grown, so has our coaching team and we now employ around 25 full and part time members of staff.

Lead Gymnastics Coach – full time position

We are looking for a level 2 or above lead gymnastics coach to join our vibrant team and develop our recreational program. As a club we encourage all our members to strive to be the best they can be, and we would like to find an influential, dynamic and creative person to take on this brand-new role.

We are looking for somebody who is self-motivated, with good management skills whilst also having the ability to inspire both the coaching team and groups of children. This role is a key part of our Management Team and would give the opportunity to make positive changes and introduce new ideas to help the club continue to be the best it possibly can be.

Men’s Artistic coach – part/full time position

Abingdon Gymnastics Club currently offers competitive gymnastics in three disciplines: men’s & women’s artistic and tumbling. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a men’s artistic coach to join our team in a lead coach role. The position would require previous experience in coaching competitive gymnasts and a level 2 or above qualification. The men’s program at Abingdon has been running for approximately 3 years and we are now looking to expand the coaching team to support the development of the program and increase the opportunities available to the boys within the club.

Part Time Gymnastics Coaches

We are always looking for casual enthusiastic gymnastics coaches to join our team. Reporting to our General Gymnastics Manager you would be based at our 11000 sq ft dedicated facility near Oxford and the hours would include evenings and/or Saturdays.

The ideal candidate will either hold or be working towards a Level 2 gymnastics qualification, They should have experience in leading general gymnastics classes and have excellent communication skills. They must also have BG membership and a current DBS (CRB) check.
