November 2011 India & Isobel shine at Nationals!
November 2011 saw India Weller & Isobel Hobbs take on the rest of Great Britain's best gymnasts in the British Age group finals, held at the Guildford Spectrum.
India competed first on Saturday 5th November in the level 2 category. India had a fantastic competition, nailing all her routines to finish 10th overall. Her faultless performance on bars gave her 4th position on this apparatus.
Isobel Hobbs continued the great work on Sunday where she competed as part of a very strong southern region team. Back in September Isobel performed brilliantly at the regional qualifier to finish 4th and gain the right to be part of the team for nationals. After a strong competition, with particular highlights on floor & vault Isobel finished in 48th position. This score, combined with her grades score from May ranks Isobel 43rd in GB for her age group. The team went on to become national champions!
A brilliant weekend for the girls, the coaches and the club!
