Girls Training With Beth Tweddle
Nikki recently took some of the girls to Liverpool GC for an afternoon training session with Beth Tweddle (current European Champion on A Bars & Floor), Hannah Whelan (British Senior Champion 2010) their team mates and coaches. It was a fantastic experience for everyone and they all came away inspired with a selection of signed photos.

More Good News!
We've recently heard that the Unit next door has got its Change of Use Planning Permission. This means that we can now get on with our plans to extend the gym. Over the next couple of months Jennings (our landlords) and ourselves will be putting in heating, lighting a new roof and a passageway to join the buildings together.
We'll do our best to keep everyone informed as things progress.
Congratulations and Well Done...
to Laura, our General Gymnastics Manager. Not only did she pass her Level 4 practical coaching exam last weekend but she also found the time to get engaged!
Pegasus Open Competition
Recently some of our younger girls went to Maidstone and took their first steps into the big wide world of National level competitions. So well done to Isobel, Gracie, Mia, Lizzieanna, Chloe, Rebecca, Kerry, Rose, Kara, Charlotte and Anna who all performed well and gained invaluable experience for the future. Highlight of the reuslts was a 10th place overall for Isobel in the 2002 age group.
GymMark updated for another year
We've just recieved our nice new shiney GymMark certificate showing that we are still a safe, well run Club. We already knew we were, but it's nice to have it confirmed!
Adult Gymnastics Classes
We now run adults gym sessions from 8-9.15pm on Tuesday evenings. These are pay as you go and the cost is £6.00 per session. We cater for total beginners through to ex-gymnasts who want to see what they can still do and classes are supervised by British Gymnastics qualified coaches.
Gymnastics is great for agility, balance, coordination, strength and flexibility - so why not come along and have a go!
